Sammy and the Tooth Explorer's Mountain Adventure

Many children across the world visit the dentist with their families to help keep their smiles bright and healthy. When you arrive, you will sit in a waiting room. You might see colourful pictures on the walls or some books to look at while you wait.

When it is your turn, you can say hello to the nurse and hello to the dentist and sit in a special chair. There is nothing to worry about because the dentist is a friendly tooth explorer!

Then the tooth explorer begins the adventure. Inside your mouth is a land of tall tooth mountains. The dentist takes a shiny mirror and a bright light and travels around each mountain, looking carefully at every side.

The little mirror helps the explorer check that all the tooth mountains are clean, bright, and sparkling. The explorer is also looking for any tiny pieces of food that might be hiding between the mountains.

This is called an examination, which is a big word for a tooth-mountain check-up. When the explorer has visited every mountain and made sure everything looks healthy and clean, your adventure is finished, and you can go home with a big, happy smile!
